Built by a PT who's also a parent

I'm Dr. David Waltman, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and performance coach with over 10 years of experience. I've worked with active adults and parents, professional athletes, and youth athletes. Since 2020 I've run Kinetix Physio, a private mobile practice in Newport Beach.

I'm also a parent, so I know the real problem isn't motivation alone. It's time, energy, budget, and a low back that tightens up every time you pick up a car seat. 1:1 coaching is outside my own budget too, and the only time I can get my workouts in is early in the morning before my family wakes up. Most workout apps weren't built for parents, or by someone who treats injuries for a living.

KEZI is the program I'd give a parent in my own practice: short, structured, and built to get you stronger without getting hurt. I oversee every program, and if KEZI can't answer something, you can email me directly.

FAQ

How long are the workouts?

Most KEZI programs are built around 30-minute sessions to fit most parents' schedules. During your intake, you can set your own preferred workout duration, and your plan will be built around it.

Is it safe if I've had back pain before?

KEZI is built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and you can tell it about past injuries or flare-ups so your plan accounts for them. KEZI isn't a substitute for medical care. If you have new, severe, or worsening pain, check with your doctor or physical therapist before starting.

Who is KEZI for?

KEZI is for adults who want to get stronger and move better — including people who have been discharged from physical therapy after surgery or an acute injury and want to keep building on that progress. KEZI is not a replacement for post-op rehab; if you are still in active rehab, follow your surgeon's and physical therapist's plan first. Every program is built from evidence-based protocols designed by licensed physical therapists.

How is this different from just using ChatGPT?

ChatGPT can give you general exercise suggestions, but it doesn't know your injury history, pain levels, or how you responded to last week's workout. I trained KEZI's AI specifically on program creation for busy parents — so your plan includes exercises that improve strength, mobility, and body composition without the added injury risk. It adapts based on your progress and feedback, tracks your strength, effort, and pain over time, and follows structured progression criteria before advancing you to the next phase. It's the difference between generic advice and a supervised, evolving program.

How is this different from YouTube exercises?

YouTube gives you generic exercises for everyone. We build a personalized program based on YOUR specific injury history, pain levels, available equipment, goals, and fitness level. Plus, our AI adapts your program as you progress — something a video can't do.

Do I need any equipment?

Not necessarily. During intake, you tell us what equipment you have access to, and we build your program around it. Many exercises can be done with just bodyweight or minimal equipment like resistance bands.

Can I talk to a real person?

Yes. KEZI's AI chat is available 24/7, and real human support is included in every plan. If the chat can't answer your question or make the program change you need, email Dr. David Waltman, DPT, any time at info@kezicoach.com.

What if the exercises make my pain worse?

KEZI tracks your pain and feedback after every session and suggests modifications or alternative exercises when pain goes up. If the exercises make your pain worse, stop the program and email Dr. Waltman at info@kezicoach.com so we can talk through whether a physical therapy evaluation is needed.

How does the AI know what exercises to give me?

Our system uses evidence-based strength, mobility, and performance protocols designed by licensed physical therapists, combined with AI that personalizes the program to your specific condition, fitness level, and available equipment.

Can I cancel anytime?

The monthly plan is $29/month and can be canceled anytime. The annual plan is $290 billed once for 12 months — 2 months free compared to monthly, or about $24/month — and is a 12-month commitment. Both plans start with a 7-day free trial, and you won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Is this covered by insurance?

This is a direct-to-consumer digital coaching service and is not billed through insurance. However, many clients find it more affordable and accessible than traditional PT copays.
